Beth Santos is a passionate entrepreneur and community builder out to disrupt travel for women worldwide. She is founder and CEO of Wanderful, an international collective of travelers and travel content creators on a mission to make travel better for all women. She is the creator of the WITS Travel Creator Summit, a leading event for women and gender diverse travel creators, the annual Bessie Awards to honor women of impact in travel, and the first major outdoor travel festival by and for women, Wanderfest. Beth has been named one of 17 changemakers shaping the future of the travel industry by Business Insider, one of 12 women to follow by Conde Nast Traveller, and one of 20 influential women in the travel industry by Travel Pulse. In 2022, she was named Godmother of the Azamara Onward cruise ship. She is the author of WANDER WOMAN: How to Reclaim Your Space, Find Your Voice, and Travel the World and works to amplify underrepresented voices in travel while challenging each of us to do better in her work as a keynote speaker, an industry consultant, and a startup and small business coach. At home she is a co-owner of Ula Cafe, an inspired cafe and community hub in the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, where she lives with her husband and children.

Beth Santos is a serial entrepreneur and community builder out to disrupt travel for women worldwide.
She is the founder and CEO of Wanderful, a global lifestyle brand and inclusive community of thousands of travelers and travel content creators. Wanderful reaches over 45,000 women each year through a thriving online membership network, local chapter events in 50 cities, global summits and small group trips. She is also the author of WANDER WOMAN: How to Reclaim Your Space, Find Your Voice, and Travel the World, published by Grand Central Balance, an imprint of Hachette Publishing, in March 2024.
In 2014, Wanderful launched the WITS Travel Creator Summit, a leading event for women and gender diverse travel creators and industry hosted on two continents each year listed by Forbes as one of the top inspiring events for women to attend. Wanderful is also the creator of the annual Bessie Awards to honor women of impact in travel, as well as the first major outdoor festival for women travelers, Wanderfest. Wanderful has been recognized in Forbes, Business Insider, Yahoo!, The Chicago Tribune, Lonely Planet, Matador Network, and Skift, among other publications.
Beth is both a Tory Burch Fellow as well as a Zell Fellow. She has been named one of 17 changemakers shaping the future of the travel industry by Business Insider, one of 12 women to follow by Conde Nast Traveller, one of 10 people shaping the future of Boston by Timeout, and one of 20 influential women in the travel industry by Travel Pulse. In 2014, she was named a top 100 travel blogger in the USA and invited to the White House under the Obama Administration. In 2022, she was named Godmother of the Azamara Onward cruise ship.
Today, Beth is an acclaimed thought leader, consultant for travel businesses, and keynote speaker who has spoken to audiences like Tripadvisor, the Girl Scouts of the USA, and the Travel & Adventure Show. She serves on the advisory board of the Black Travel Alliance and regularly gives back to other entrepreneurs and builders out to make travel more responsible and inclusive.
At home in Boston, she and her husband are owners of Ula Cafe, a Black-owned, woman-owned and veteran-owned inspired cafe and community hub in Jamaica Plain that focuses on local, sustainable, and responsible food, paired with community dialogue and events intended to unite and celebrate a diverse neighborhood.
Beth is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management and Wellesley College, and lives with her husband and two daughters in a cute purple house perched in the middle of the city and surrounded by raspberry and blueberry bushes.
